The Role

The Cloud QA/Tester plays a critical role in our growing and dynamic IBM Automation organization. You'll be responsible for testing and supporting our Cloud Pak System (CPS) product, working closely with product management, development teams, and end users. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple test teams to ensure efficient and high-quality testing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Create and execute test cases
• Review test cases created by other teams
• Develop and expand test automation using Python and frameworks like pytest
• Design automation frameworks for web applications using Selenium
• Plan and execute currency tests
• Ensure all testing is completed within deadlines and meets high-quality standards
• Support and test for customer support cases

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (STLC), bug lifecycle, and requirement analysis
• Experience in both manual and automation testing
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with testing frameworks like pytest
• Experience in designing automation frameworks for web using Selenium
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, Git, and Groovy
• Hands-on experience with API testing and automation tools like Postman
• Familiarity with relational databases and ability to write SQL queries
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience in an Agile development environment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams
• Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

1-3 years of industry experience working with the mentioned technologies
