Job Description:

As a Data Software Intern at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will have the opportunity to contribute to important work while experiencing continuous growth and learning within our empowering culture. Roles & Responsibilities:

- Study and understand the product functionalities of the BPG-SUD business unit (Digitization Projects)

- Work on one or more focus areas to define project requirements

- Automate instruments

- Develop modules

- Perform data acquisition

- Conduct data modeling and analysis

- Review work products from product owners and subject matter experts (SMEs) and review project requirements

- Develop software based on identified problem statements and requirements

- Apply software programming fundamentals to address problem statements

- Set up the development environment

- Communicate project progress to collaborators

- Be familiar with software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile/V Model/Waterfall)

- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of work products

- Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, vitality, and drive

- Ability to work independently

Education Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Computer Science Engineering or equivalent)

- Good understanding of Computer Science subjects and Software Engineering topics (Operating Systems, Databases, etc.)

- Proficiency in writing code (JAVA, Python & C++)

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and processes
