What you'll be doing:
- Design, build, and maintain core infrastructure that enables PhonePe to handle millions of concurrent users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure our systems are always up and running.
- Automate tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support.
- Work collaboratively with other engineers, product managers, and designers.
What you bring to the table:
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix administration and networking concepts.
- Experience working with a variety of open-source technologies, tools, and cloud services.
- Proven ability to automate tasks and processes using scripting languages (Perl/Golang preferred).
- Experience with configuration management tools like SaltStack.
- Hands-on experience in private and public cloud environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Cloud services on Linux (kvm/qemu)
- DCOS, Mesos, and Mesos Frameworks
- Aerospike (NoSQL database)
- Galera cluster technology
- OpenBSD operating system
