The Emerging Systems Lab/Telecom Systems Research (ESL/TSR) at Intel Labs is searching for a highly motivated Graduate Intern to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this exciting role, you'll collaborate with leading researchers to develop and prototype advanced networking solutions for the future.

What You'll Do:

  • Investigate, apply, and develop state-of-the-art AI/ML techniques to optimize areas like network energy efficiency and resource allocation.
  • Analyze, design, and prototype research projects, workloads, and system features.
  • Work alongside internal and external partners to bring advanced networking systems to life.


  • PhD candidate in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, Linux, and system software.
  • Expertise in AI/ML tools and technologies.
  • Familiarity with network architecture and protocols (a plus if you have knowledge of network or 5G cellular network architecture).
  • Ability to analyze resource utilization and propose solutions to improve performance in scalable and distributed systems.
  • Experience working in ambiguous technical environments.
