YouTube is hiring a Scaled Abuse Analyst for the YouTube Partner Program (YPP)!

                                                                                

About the role:

• Be passionate about identifying abuse patterns and trends within the YouTube Partner Program.
• Play a key role in reducing abuse on YouTube's business generation program.
• Analyze large and complex data sets to understand the impact of abuse on the YouTube ecosystem.
• Develop strategies and workflows to combat new and emerging abuse tactics.
• Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to improve anti-abuse systems and processes.
• Communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain high quality standards by providing regular feedback to the global team.

Responsibilities:

• Apply advanced statistical methods to data sets.
• Develop strategies and workflows to counter abuse.
• Learn and apply complex technical concepts.
• Communicate technical findings clearly.
• Manage and improve quality assurance processes.
• Develop training materials for stakeholders.
• Investigate fraud and spam activities.
• Identify product vulnerabilities.
• Design and run anti-abuse experiments.
• Work collaboratively with engineers and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 1 year of experience in data management, metrics analysis, experiment design, and automation.
• Experience with classification or ranking systems. (Preferred)
• Experience translating data insights into actionable strategies. (Preferred)
• Experience working with global teams. (Preferred)
• Experience collecting, managing, and analyzing large data sets. (Preferred)
