QA Automation Engineer at CGI Bangalore
CGI is seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer to join their team in Bangalore, India.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. You will work closely with developers and other QA testers to identify and resolve defects.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium
- Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing, including regression testing
- Participate in test plan creation and test strategy development for Non-Functional Requirements (NFR)
- Collaborate with developers and other QA testers to identify and resolve defects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in automation testing using Java and Selenium
- Strong understanding of end-to-end testing methodologies
- Experience with regression testing is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Analytical thinking skills to solve complex problems
- Proficiency in Java programming language for software development and testing
- Experience with test automation frameworks
