About the Role
- As a Customer Service Analyst, you'll be a key part of the American Express team, providing exceptional service to our merchants. You'll handle a variety of tasks, including:
- Processing merchant requests related to fund release, account research, and reconciliation.
- Managing inbound and outbound calls (80/20 split).
- Partnering with internal teams and client managers to resolve inquiries.
- Providing support to various departments such as Processors, Risk Management, and Network Development.
- Analyzing and processing merchant requests of varying complexity.
- Reviewing and applying information from business and legal documents.
- Ensuring timely case resolution and adherence to deadlines.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and collaboration skills.
- Ability to independently evaluate merchant information and make decisions.
- High result orientation and ability to meet deadlines.
- Dependable and self-directed with a focus on follow-through.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
