About the Role

  • As a Customer Service Analyst, you'll be a key part of the American Express team, providing exceptional service to our merchants. You'll handle a variety of tasks, including:
  • Processing merchant requests related to fund release, account research, and reconciliation.
  • Managing inbound and outbound calls (80/20 split).
  • Partnering with internal teams and client managers to resolve inquiries.
  • Providing support to various departments such as Processors, Risk Management, and Network Development.
  • Analyzing and processing merchant requests of varying complexity.
  • Reviewing and applying information from business and legal documents.
  • Ensuring timely case resolution and adherence to deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to independently evaluate merchant information and make decisions.
  • High result orientation and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Dependable and self-directed with a focus on follow-through.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
