Data Analyst

Summary
We are searching for a Data Analyst to join our team and play a vital role in transforming data into actionable insights. You will be responsible for analyzing data, creating mapping documents, and presenting your findings to various stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about data analysis and have a strong understanding of the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities:
- Create accurate and detailed mapping documents.
- Analyze data to understand transformation requirements.
- Collaborate with ETL/Reporting/Conversion staff to ensure code meets business needs.
- Test interfaces and reports to ensure they adhere to requirements.
- Present analysis and design recommendations to various teams.
- Support ETL/Reporting/Conversion developers based on created mappings.
- Collaborate with the configuration team and DBAs to ensure data synchronization.
- Utilize SQL, data models, and data dictionaries to perform data and business analysis.
- Develop unit test cases and validate test plan results.
- Maintain and update technical specifications and mappings.
- Support various testing phases, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and data analysis skills, preferably with experience in SQL.
- Working knowledge of the healthcare claims processing industry, particularly Medicaid.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive working relationships.
Preferred Skills:
- QNEXT/Schema knowledge
- Experience in healthcare/business domains like member, eligibility, TPL, claims processing, provider, and pharmacy claims
- Advanced SQL skills
- Effective oral and written communication
- Data mapping experience
- Experience with conversion, interface, and reporting
