About the role:
- In this role, you will be a key member of the Discovery experience team, building and maintaining test automation frameworks, systems, and infrastructure to support the Discovery experience across Mobile, Web, and Living Room devices.
- You will collaborate with Product, UX, and Development teams to ensure high-quality delivery of Discovery experiences for potentially 300+ million users.
- You will contribute to innovative solutions for complex test automation challenges and drive product quality by guiding peers in developing Quality Engineering roadmaps and test systems.
Responsibilities:
- Build highly scalable test frameworks, systems, and infrastructure.
- Contribute to making test automation results reliable and enable hands-free releases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to ensure the Quality team is aligned with business objectives.
- Guide peers in developing Quality Engineering roadmaps and test systems.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in software development testing.
- Excellent automation skills for front-end and back-end applications.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, request-response structures, error and status codes.
- Experience developing backend tools or frameworks for testing APIs, microservices, data migration, etc.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD and Shift Left principles.
- Experience working in a distributed microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud providers like AWS.
- Experience with industry best practices in software development processes.
