The Uber Greenlight Team is a global force dedicated to upholding the highest standards of trust and safety within the Uber marketplace. As a Risk and Compliance Specialist I in Hyderabad, you'll play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for riders and drivers alike.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct in-depth investigations into potential fraud and compliance violations, leveraging data analysis, interviews, and other investigative techniques.

* Partner with Legal, Product, and Operations teams to develop and implement effective risk management strategies.

* Analyze data and identify trends to proactively prevent future incidents.

* Make independent and accurate decisions regarding risk mitigation based on established policies and procedures.

* Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in both written and verbal formats.

* Continuously identify and propose process improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness within Greenlight operations.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in any field, with a preference for Risk Management, Compliance, or similar areas.

* Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present complex information to diverse audiences.

* Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

* Independent decision-making skills and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

* Experience in customer-centric industries and knowledge of global markets highly preferred.
