Job Description:

We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our Data Engineering team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming. They will also be able to write code in C/C++/Java and have experience with large-scale distributed systems.

Responsibilities:

* Work in a team of developers to build and maintain large-scale data pipelines and data lakes

* Use cross-departmental data and machine learning to build a holistic view of true profitability

* Help Walmart make better decisions faster by unlocking actionable insights from data

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area

* 3 years of experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company

* Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming

* Experience with large-scale distributed systems

* Excellent problem-solving, analytic, decision-making, and communication skills
