The Recruitment & Assessment Centre (RAC) of DRDO invites online applications from graduate engineers and postgraduates in Science for the position of Scientist 'B'. This is a Group 'A' (Gazetted) technical service role in the Defence Research & Development Service (DRDS). The selected candidates will work on exciting and challenging projects in various technologies across DRDO's laboratories/establishments nationwide.

Essential Qualification:

- Electronics & Communication Engg: First Class Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communication Engg or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent. Valid GATE score in Electronics & Communication Engg.

- Mechanical Engg: First Class Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engg or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent. Valid GATE score in Mechanical Engineering.

- Computer Science & Engg: First Class Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science & Engg or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent. Valid GATE score in Computer Science & Information Technology.

- Electrical Engg: First Class Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engg or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent. Valid GATE score in Electrical Engg.

- Material Engg/Material Science & Engg/Metallurgical Engg: First Class Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy from a recognized university or equivalent. Valid GATE score in Metallurgical Engineering.

- Physics: First Class Master's Degree in Physics from a recognized university or equivalent. Valid GATE score in Physics.

- Chemistry: First Class Master's Degree in Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent. Valid GATE score in Chemistry.

- Chemical Engg: First Class Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engg or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent. Valid GATE score in Chemical Engineering.

- Aeronautical/Aerospace Engg: First Class Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engg or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent. Valid GATE score in Aerospace Engineering.

- Mathematics: First Class Master's Degree in Mathematics from a recognized university or equivalent. Valid GATE score in Mathematics.

- Civil Engg: First Class Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engg or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent. Valid GATE score in Civil Engineering.

Age Limit:

- Unreserved (UR)/EWS: Not exceeding 28 years

- OBC (Non-creamy layer): Not exceeding 31 years

- SC/ST: Not exceeding 33 years

Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.

Note:

- Candidates who have appeared in the final year/semester examination can submit their degree/provisional degree certificate by August 31, 2023, if not able to do so at the time of filling the application form.

- Candidates with degrees from foreign universities should obtain an equivalence certificate from the 'Association of Indian Universities, Delhi' and submit it by August 31, 2023
