The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for various posts through direct recruitment or training scheme. The government encourages women candidates to apply and seeks to maintain a gender-balanced workforce. The application process began on April 24th, 2023, and will conclude on May 22nd, 2023. For the post of Technical Officer/C, candidates with M.Sc., M.Lib., BE/B.Tech. degrees from a recognized University/Board of Technical Education of Central or State Government can apply. The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the interview, and if necessary, a Computer-Based Screening Test in the relevant discipline may be conducted to limit the number of candidates to be called for an interview.
The Computer-Based Screening Test for Scientific Assistant/B and Category-I Stipendiary Trainee will be conducted across India and will include 40 multiple-choice questions. Those who qualify for the screening test will be shortlisted for an interview, where the final selection will be based on their performance. The selection process for Technician/B and Category-II Stipendiary Trainee includes three stages of tests - the Preliminary Test, Advanced Test, and Skill Test. A Computer-Based Test will be conducted across India for Stage 1 and 2, while the Skill Test will be based on a Go/No-Go basis. The final shortlisting and empanelment of candidates will depend on their merit, and in the event of a tie, several criteria will be considered. There will be no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of scores, and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
