About the Role
As an Associate Software Engineer on our Audience Team, you will play a key role in building and maintaining data pipelines for our platform. You will be responsible for the entire data lifecycle, from extraction and transformation to loading and maintenance. You will also work with stakeholders across the organization to support their data needs and contribute ideas to improve our location platform.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain data pipelines for the GroundTruth platform
- Build the infrastructure for data extraction, transformation, and loading using SQL and AWS technologies
- Collaborate with product, analytics, and client services teams on data-related issues
- Prepare technical specifications and designs
- Participate in code reviews
- Test and maintain the application
- Contribute ideas to improve the platform
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 0-3 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Experience with AWS Stack (EC2, S3, Athena, Redshift, EMR, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions)
- Experience with Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, Glue
- Hands-on experience with Python for data pipelines and engineering tasks
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Airflow
- Experience with Docker
- Proficient in Git
Bonus Points :
- Knowledge of REST APIs
- Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig)
- Knowledge of shell scripting and Perl
- Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau)
- Experience with DB maintenance
- Experience with configuration management and QA practices
