About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for managing major incidents within Shell's IT infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to identify, diagnose, and resolve critical issues that could impact business operations.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Manage and resolve major incidents following ITIL best practices
• Document incidents in ServiceNow and ensure timely updates to stakeholders
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify the underlying cause of incidents and prevent future occurrences
• Proactively monitor events and take necessary actions to ensure business continuity
• Participate in disaster recovery activities and simulated testing
• Collaborate with the Global Monitoring Operations team to resolve emerging issues
• Recommend improvements to operational procedures

We are looking for someone with:

• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to independently manage their workload
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience working in a fast-paced IT environment
• ITIL certification (preferred)
• Broad technical knowledge across servers, networks, and exchange environments
