Data Analyst at Target
Target is searching for a passionate Data Analyst to join their growing Data & Insights team!
About the role:
- You will be a strategic analytics partner, working across the business to identify and solve problems through data analysis.
- Leverage your expertise in data wrangling, reporting, visualization, and statistical analysis to uncover meaningful insights.
- Develop strong domain knowledge about property management at Target.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to implement data-driven solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest data analysis trends and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Explore data sets to uncover trends and patterns.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and dashboards.
- Perform statistical analysis and modeling.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to a non-technical audience.
- Partner with business users to turn problems into data-driven solutions.
- Document data analysis processes and findings.
- Support data infrastructure initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1+ years of experience in data analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL, R, and Python.
- Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts (descriptive and inferential statistics, hypothesis testing).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Eager to learn new technologies and stay current with industry trends.
