About the Role:

As an Associate Software Engineer - IT ETD FS Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining innovative software solutions for Micron's Engineering Information Technology (IT) department. You will leverage your expertise in full-stack development (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, C#) to create intuitive user interfaces and powerful backend systems using web APIs and SQL/NoSQL databases. You will also collaborate with our software application teams to integrate solutions seamlessly across the software stack.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and developing user-friendly front-end applications
• Building secure and performant back-end applications
• Creating solutions that address critical business needs
• Supporting and enhancing existing IT front-end and back-end solutions
• Contributing to the refinement of our software architecture for scalability
• Implementing proactive monitoring and generating usage metrics
• Monitoring website performance and resolving usability issues
• Fostering strong relationships with key customers to gather feedback
• Participating in software roadmap planning and future website upgrades
• Developing strategies to minimize service outages and their impact
• Collaborating with various teams (architects, security, network, etc.) to ensure adherence to internal standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• 0-2 years of experience in web development
• Strong hands-on knowledge of JavaScript (Angular 2.x or ReactJS preferred), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS
• Experience developing RESTful web services with NodeJS or C#
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and reusable components
• Experience with software development lifecycles (dev, deploy, release, CI) and open-source software
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred) and cloud-native architecture a plus
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with user interaction and visual design techniques
• Experience building mobile-compatible web interfaces
• Understanding of web coding standards, security best practices, and cross-browser compatibility
