About the Role

We are searching for a talented Data Analyst to join our team and play a vital role in our mission. In this role, you will be responsible for performing in-depth data analysis, creating mapping documents, and presenting your findings to various stakeholders. You will also have the opportunity to suggest improvements to current practices and contribute to the development of program specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Create accurate and detailed mapping documents.
• Analyze data to understand transformation requirements.
• Collaborate with ETL/Reporting/Conversion staff to ensure code meets documented business requirements.
• Test interfaces and reports for functionality.
• Present analysis and design recommendations to various teams.
• Support ETL/Reporting/Conversion developers based on your mappings.
• Work with the configuration team and DBAs to ensure data synchronization.
• Utilize SQL, data models, and data dictionaries to perform data and business analysis.
• Develop unit test cases and validate test plan results.
• Maintain and update technical specifications and mappings.
• Participate in various testing phases, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and data analysis skills, preferably with experience in SQL.
• Working knowledge of healthcare, particularly claims processing within Medicaid (a plus).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Proven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.

Top Skills:

• Experience with QNEXT/Schema or Facets.
• Proven experience in data mapping.
• Knowledge of healthcare and business processes related to members, eligibility, TPL, claims processing, providers, and pharmacy claims.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
• Strong SQL proficiency.
• Experience with conversion, interface, and reporting development (a plus).
