Catchpoint, the Internet Resilience Company™, is searching for a Systems Engineer I to join our Operations team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest possible uptime for our global infrastructure and services.
What you'll be doing:
- Monitor Catchpoint's node infrastructure and troubleshoot issues across various environments.
- Perform system upgrades and migrations to ensure smooth operation.
- Provide first-line support to customers, diagnosing and resolving incidents.
- Manage the workload and priorities of the Operations team.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to define and share best practices.
- Communicate effectively with customers and management, keeping everyone informed of critical issues.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Networking (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
- Up to 6 months of experience in a related field.
- Strong foundation in Linux troubleshooting and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on customer interaction.
- A team player with a customer-centric attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle rotational shifts.
