Software Engineer II (Automation) - Bentley Systems

Are you passionate about automation and eager to contribute to advancing the world's infrastructure?

Bentley Systems is seeking a talented Software Engineer II (Automation) to join our team in Pune, India. In this role, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining automation frameworks and tools for our large enterprise applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in an Agile, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Software Development environment.
  • Develop new and enhance existing automation frameworks and tools.
  • Design and implement new features and frameworks for automation.
  • Increase code coverage by guiding development and QA teams in writing automated tests.
  • Fix defects and improve applications.
  • Upgrade and maintain existing software and web services tests.
  • Work effectively within a dynamic DevOps environment.
  • Understand web and desktop application functionalities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (required).
  • 0-5 years of experience in automation tools development (required).
  • Extensive programming skills in C++, C#, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) (required).
  • Knowledge of unit testing tools, mock testing tools, and code coverage tools (required).
  • Knowledge of scenario and integration testing (required).
  • Experience with WPF and Telerik (a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (required).
  • Experience with automation tools like Test Complete and WinAppDriver (a plus).
  • Experience with cloud services and REST interfaces (a plus).
  • Experience working in Microsoft Azure or consuming Azure services (a plus).
  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum Development, Test Driven Development, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps processes (required).
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly (required).
  • Understanding of different code coverage tools (required).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills (required).
