The Role:
As a Social Media Executive (US Sports), you'll play a crucial role in managing our social media presence for US sports. You'll be responsible for:
- Crafting high-quality content for various platforms, aligned with our team's strategies.
- Handling multiple accounts across different US sports platforms.
- Staying ahead of the curve by analyzing media trends and validating news in real-time.
- Writing compelling copy for various social media channels.
- Developing and executing content buckets to keep our audience engaged.
- Analyzing the competition to stay ahead of the game.
- Growing Sportskeeda's traffic through US sports content on social media.
- Maintaining a consistent work schedule of 9-hour shifts, 6 days a week.
You're a perfect fit if you:
- Possess expert knowledge of at least one of these sports: NBA, NHL, MLB, NFL.
- Have experience working in a social media management role.
- Have a basic understanding of other US sports.
- Have excellent written and spoken English with impeccable spelling and grammar.
- Understand the nuances of social media and current trends.
- Have prior experience working in social media.
- Own a computer with reliable internet access.
- Have a basic understanding of digital marketing (a plus!).
