As a Data Analytics Intern in the Data Science team at Ketto, you will be an integral part of our data-driven decision-making process. You will work closely with exceptional colleagues from diverse backgrounds and gain exposure to various aspects of business operations at Ketto, including product, marketing, business, and technology. We are strong advocates of the power of data to transform businesses, and we encourage our team members to push boundaries and deliver state-of-the-art data products and solutions. Your responsibilities will include leveraging SQL/Python and visualization tools to mine massive datasets, building KPI tracking dashboards, designing A/B experiments, and providing data-backed recommendations to shape Ketto's strategy.
- Utilize SQL/Python and visualization tools (Metabase/Tableau) to mine and analyze massive datasets, delivering data-backed insights
- Develop and maintain KPI tracking dashboards to measure the effectiveness of product, marketing, and business strategies
- Design A/B experiments, analyze results, and propose improvements to Ketto's products and services
- Participate in key meetings and roadmap discussions, providing data-backed recommendations to shape Ketto's strategy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address open-ended business questions
- Ability to extract meaningful insights from structured and unstructured data
- Agile approach to building analytics solutions in a fast-paced startup environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders across different teams
- Advanced knowledge of SQL; familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker
- Good to have: Knowledge of Python/R and a basic understanding of statistical testing and machine learning concepts (regressions, decision trees, clustering)
