Department of Biotechnology (DBT) under the Union Ministry of Science and Technology is inviting applications for admission to 'Biotech Industrial Training Program (BITP)' under Skill Vigyan Scheme. It is managed by DBT-H SRD Project Management Unit under Regional Center for Biotechnology (RCB, Faridabad). As part of this, practical training is given in leading biotech companies. Supervision of project management under the supervision of industry experts. Duration of training is Arnels. Those who show talent during training can get job opportunities. Candidates will be selected through Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted across the country.
BE/BTech/MMC/MTech/MVSC/MBA in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics from a recognized university are eligible. Second class marks are mandatory. Candidates of DBT PG Teaching Program in Biotechnology are also eligible. Candidates who have completed their degree/PG during the academic year 2020-21, 2021-22 and are currently appearing for final year exams can apply. CBT details
• Exam time is 100 minutes. 12 from General Science, 76 from Biotechnology and 12 from General Aptitude/Analytical-General Knowledge will be given multiple choice questions. Total marks are 100. No negative marks. stipend
• DBT will give Rs.10,000 per month to the candidates who join the program. Also, the trainer company also pays Rs.9,000 per month as per the apprentice regulations.
