About the Role
Emerson is searching for a Supply Chain Data Analyst to join their growing team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering critical data analysis to improve the overall efficiency of the supply chain. You will leverage your skills in statistics and data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI to generate insightful reports that support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop analytics related to cost, quality, speed, and capacity to optimize the supply chain.
- Utilize statistical methods and tools to create data visualizations for leadership teams.
- Collaborate with global supply chain teams to manage data systems and initiatives.
- Generate monthly supply chain reports using Tableau and advanced Excel.
- Benchmark best practices in analytics and implement them within the company.
- Develop and maintain key performance metrics (KPIs) for supply chain performance.
- Analyze purchasing data including material costs, supplier performance, and lead times.
- Identify areas for improvement in the supply chain approval process.
- Design and create data visualization reports for supply chain leadership.
- Analyze large volumes of supply chain data and extract relevant information.
- Fulfill ad-hoc data analysis requests from supply management.
- Ensure timely delivery of accurate reports, dashboards, and analytics.
- Conduct training sessions on supply chain systems.
- Manage reporting and analytics activities for the Global Supply Chain team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in data analysis and management tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SQL).
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP or Oracle.
- Excellent digital literacy and strong data gathering, interpretation, and reporting skills.
- Understanding of supply chain management principles.
- Strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management experience (a plus).
- Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
