Deloitte Tax Services India - Junior Quality Assurance Engineer (Hyderabad/Pune)

Deloitte Tax Services India is searching for a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to join their Global Employer Services Technology Center (GESTC) team in Hyderabad or Pune!
In this role, you will be responsible for manual testing of applications to identify bugs and ensure quality before and after release.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the QA lead to understand testing requirements
- Design test cases to thoroughly evaluate application features
- Perform exploratory tests of new features and bug fixes
- Actively participate in the team to promote quality, security, and best practices
- Conduct functional, regression, retesting, and UI testing across various applications
- Assist in troubleshooting bugs
- Document and assess test results, reporting findings to the Test Lead
- Utilize tools like MS Excel to generate metrics and develop actionable recommendations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years of experience in QA testing
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, DLC, and key testing phases
- Experience with testing methodologies
- Experience with test management tools, preferably Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with agile frameworks
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment with frequent project changes and deadlines
- Adaptability and willingness to integrate quickly into an existing team
