Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-performance, scalable microservices using Java 8+ and Object-Oriented principles.
- Utilize Spring Boot Framework and Event-Driven Architecture for efficient development.
- Work in a CI/CD environment using Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- Choose the right persistence mechanisms based on project requirements (RDBMS, NoSQL).
- Implement coding best practices and ensure code quality.
- Conduct Proofs-of-Concept to address specific business needs.
- Collaborate effectively with other teams within Mastercard.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills in an Agile environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Full-stack developer skills and talent.
- Strong knowledge of product development.
- Expertise in Java and Spring Boot, with experience in Event-Driven Architecture.
- Experience with Online/Real-Time Systems.
- Proficiency in CI/CD practices.
- Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Digital Native Architecture (a plus).
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Quick learner with a passion for new technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and geographically distributed team.
- Strong ethical values and commitment to team trust.
